The hotel is located in Kyllini, which lies on the west coast of the Peloponnese, in the region of Ilia, just 45 minutes from the airport of Araxos and 100 km from the seaport of Patras. Ancient Olympia is some 66 km away, while Rio/Antirio bridge is about 90 km away. The isle of Zante is about 28 km away, with Arkoudi village being just 3 km away. The medieval castle Chemoutsi of Kastro is about 6 km away.
Facilities:
The club resort takes its name from the most beautiful image of the blossoming almond trees that characterises Ancient Olympia. It is an old-world building, which pays tribute to the glamorous 1920s atmosphere of Southern Europe. The accommodation consists of 26 one-bedroom suites and 17 majestic 2 bedroom villas. With discrete service, high security and à la carte facilities, these special suites meet the highest European standards. Each has its own reception and services. The style is elite and exclusive. Rooms:
The stylish suites occupy the two wings of the two-storey main building. Glorious sea views can be enjoyed from the first-floor balcony or ground-floor porch. Sliding French doors separate the lounge area with a desk from the master bedroom with its king-size bed. The sofa also doubles as an extra bed. The main residence offers six exquisite sea view suites. This accommodation features a mix of old-fashioned hospitality with modern amenities. Brocade wallpaper, velvet headboards on the king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a double-size armchair, raw silk bedcovers, gilt bedside lamps, black-lacquered side tables, and a refinished antique writing desk combine to create a sumptuous retreat. The bathroom reveals double sinks set in marble and a bathtub inlaid with bronze-leaf and mother-of-pearl mosaic tiles. For families travelling with children and nanny, the suite collection includes two 2-bedroom suites in the main house. These suites are formed by joining the Blue and Orange suites at one end of the residence and the Red and White suites at the other. How to get there:
From Araxos Airport follow the signs towards Pyrgos. After approximately 40 km there is a sign for Gastouni. Turn right. Pass through the villages Gastouni and Vartholomio. Continue for 8 km to Loutra Kyllinis. The hotel is within the same parkland.
