Grow tomatoes from seeds. Germinate tomato seeds before you start them in potting mix. Pre-sprouting helps accelerate your tomato seedling crop.

  • Pre-germination can take up to 7-10 days. I had several slow-germinating varieties this spring so I understand your frustration. A heat source will help move things along. Set your sealed plastic bag on top of the fridge or even on top of a heating pad. The heating pad trick worked really well for me!
