1. Please don't mind my bad english pronouncing, it is not my native language and sometimes it's really hard for me to say what I want to say, note that I talk straight from my head, I don't want to lose time by writing everything down...

2. I forgot to show final settings in second part so I made third part.

For this tutorial you can use HDRs from:

http://www.hdrmill.com/Freebies.htm

or search Google and see what you can find.

  • i dont understand ??? why use to on material editor 3 slot? so i watching very tutorial use to one slotfor enviroment and lightig ,refraction

  • @talatakgun

Because that way you can control intensity of the lighting independently of reflections and environment. Sometimes you need more or less lighting from the map, but you want to keep reflection and environment levels.

Can't remember exactly but try assigning a background with V-Ray compatible material or try using Environment override in V-Ray options.

  • Thanks for the tutorial. I use V-Ray in Maya but it works exactly the same way and your tut translates over well... Cheers.
