I spent 2 days on Tweed in October of '09. Landed 11 salmon up to 25lb in hurricane winds and rain. Tillmouth beat was loaded with autumn run salmon waiting for the rain...
Hope you will have chance to experience Tweed like I did!

@TweedFisherman I can honestly state ?You do not call this fishing anyone can catch salmon on those beats even a monkey can.You just cast in and you have one in seconds what a price to pay for ignorance.

congrats , nice video , nice fish , and you had a day that people only ever dream of getting 11 fish to hook up , i had a day like that with steelhead last year , so i know what your feeling like , enjoy the moment

What a day ! I had a similar a day on the Lower Tweed a few years ago. Funnily enough, the weather and water conditions were very similar. Those Golden Hours have to see you through many long fruitless days ! I caught my first salmon at Tillmouth, when I was 11 years old . 43 years later ... I am still going back! Roll on the Autumn. Thanks for posting your video .

I will be there again in October, but before that , Russia and Norway in June and July...stay tuned.
