Wow, first he burns down their house and almost kills the girl he loves. He stalks her. And acts like a control freak. This movie screams Bad romance!

This movie is so hard to watch. Shows the best to the worst feelings you can ever have from being in love. It's really sad & gut-wrenching. I don't ever want to see this again. lol

I've heard nothing but bad reviews for this film but after seeing it I think it's actually quite good. Not a masterpiece, more of a guilty pleasure, but definitely a time capsule. Martin Hewitt is great, too bad his career never really took off. Brooke Shields is good also. The movie has a hopeful ending but in the novel, Jade is unable to deal with David's obsessive love & his role in her dad's death. She manages to move on, but David is unable to. The last lines in the novel indicate that.

@fanatical16 yes...they are back. The mother made Jade realise to find happiness for herself. Infact it was touching that Jade opened her heart to search for the person who really loves her. He became more confused and unstable because of what he has to go through from the mental facilities and finding disclosure to make peace and yet he was sent back to the institution because of the fight.

Serendipity, thank you SO much for posting the full film. I have looked everywhere for this movie, to no avail. I agree with TVLubber that it is long overdue for US release.
