I agree w U Randy G. JOS was "THE GREATEST B3 PLAYER THAT EVER LIVED". I'm 61yrs. Old. I learned how to play a B3 by listening to him just about all the time. Why I say he's great is 'cause he is unique. He doesn't copy from anyone! Everyone copies off him. He has a certain style that can easily be identified. I could pic him out of 100 B3 players. I could go on!!!!'nnn

Jimmy Smith on the B3 is so cool for me to watch because it gives me a view into a greatness of musical technique and intelligence that I'll never reach, but at least I get to see it. it's so cool Randy Green

Coolest . . . ever . . .
Jimmy Smith came along on 1954 just as Hammond was unveiling the B3 organ. Music was never the same! Smith really spawned soul/jazz and inspired so many disciples.
