bravo my friend!!

true true. i do that too XD I find that while standing, you're not prone to slouching, and the air can flow out nicer that way.

i don't like the performance of the orchestra - never heard of any baroque playing?? vibrato etc??

I'm kind of half and half myself. When I am playing for concerts, exams etc, I would play with a seat strap, but when practising, I normally play with a neck strap because it is less hastle.

Most bassoonists are used to playing with a seat strap. Seat straps hook onto the bottom of the bassoon and is placed over the chair for the bassoonist to sit on.
It's much easier to play this way than using neckstraps.

Why do you play sit down?

Nice :)

I felt the orchestra was going to slow lol, but it always feels slow when ur with an orchestra. When I performed this, I honestly thought it was my worst performance ever until I heard the recording.

I really like the way your bassoon sounds. I have a school student Schreiber and it sounds different, makes a strange noise like a harrumph, is it because of the bassoon or because of the reed or is the way I blow? can you please give me an advice?

@Lkiduta Reeds make a huge difference. You sound like a pro or a beginner depending on how good your reed is. The bassoon sounds the way it sound. You can get a nicer bocal, that contributes to the sound and make sure it works for you and your bassoon. If you can afford a bassoon of your own then go for one. Fox 220s or 240s are good student models. 201s, 601s or 660s are pro models. I prefer heckels though. I don't know much about other bassoon models though so I can't say much.
