  • @Miserlou57 The casting are from him but a man out in Nevada Steve Alley built it

  • @Rachmaninov08

yeah it definitely looks like one of the 1.5" scale Ken Schroeder shays... fairly close to what the #7 looks like, but in a different scale

  • @Rachmaninov08 Maybeur right the owner told me it was 2.5 scale but it could be 1.5 its not mine but it think ur right cause shay #14 & #15 are that big i have seen them.

  • @aacuna09 Are you sure it's 2.5" scale? It looks like 1.5" scale that has been regauged for 7.5" track. It looks tiny compared to 2.5" shays #14 and #15, which are supposed to be about the same size as #7. On your recent video of the loco, the rails are wider than the boiler, and on the real thing, the rails are narrower than the boiler. I'm just curious, because my dream engine would be a 1.5" scale shay on 4.75" track.

  • no its 7.5'

    2.5 scale 3 truck shay

  • Beauitful engine! what gauge is it? Looks like 4.75" but I can't quite tell.
