I'm a sports better and I think most are fixed. I do most of my bets on the fact that it could be fixed. Such as a team that has losed a few how games in a row so that home team has to win or u will lose fans and $ and if theres no one coming to the game they cant make money. I admit that I belive it goes deeper than the players and more are envoled.

Its true, they might be fixed. But you have to look at a game and go against your initial inclination a lot of times. Look at extenuating circumstances. I was always very bad at this, but I am getting better at noticing the side vegas "wants" you to take. They set the lines the way they do on purpose, one team looks obvious, the other does not, usually the team that doesnt look obvious wins against the spread.
