Cassy Duprey / The Beforetime

Another creative exercise, this time focussing on the world of Cassy Duprey, and her Beforetime (based on a yet-to-be-written Beforetime Trilogy, by Isobelle Carmody, which will be a prequel to the Obernewtyn Chronicles). This time I was focussing more on voices, and what Garageband could do with them, to manipulate them (particularly changing male voiceovers to female ones - fun!! :P ).

The story this vid; we begin soon after Cassy has lost Samu. She's grief-striken - her dead lover continually clouding her visions. Hannah calls Cassy to her, begging her for confirmation of what she's seeing. Cassy tries, but can see only her past.
Nevertheless, she infiltrates the Govamen institute where her father works, for Hannah and the Reichler Clinic.
She commandeers a terminal, and discovers that there's a secret location where people are being held. Within the same file set is a surveillance video, of herself and Hannah talking, but the recording is only very short.
Wondering what this means, Cassy visits her father, to try insist something bad is about to happen, but he doesn't listen to her.
Cassy's visions are finally plagued by someone other than Samu. She starts to see the future again. There's a girl, with black hair, and green eyes. Someone who has now become important, and she (Elspeth Gordie) is all Cassy dreams of. Cassy tells Hannah what she's seen, and what they must prepare for her.

Once she leaves Hannah, Petr Masterton arrives to 'talk' to Hannah, and Cassy is taken in by Govamen cronies. They realised not only that Cassy was spying on them, but that she has these Paranormal abilities they're after. Hannah hurries to try save Cassy, but the problem is bigger than they think; the whole Clinic is invaded by Govamen armies. Hannah hurries to try and get the other Paranormals freed, but Cassy and a number of other Paranormals are taken...

...to the Govamen institute Cassy found in the files when she was spying. There's all manner of military presence and machinery, to fiddle with their mental powers. Before too long, however, a band of unknowns break into the institute - who kidnap as many talented women they can get their hands on.

Cassy is one of the stolen. They travel on a ship, to an unknown land, with unknown customs.
Upon arrival, Cassy at first despairs, but then realises that she is safe; that this was meant to happen; because the world is currently ending around her. She has visions of the 'present' - the Great White.

She resigns herself to the life ahead of her...as Kasanda, and retains hope for the untainted mountains and valleys that she can spot, just at the back of her visions...

Hope you enjoy it, and it makes some sort of sense! Again, full credits appear at the end of the clip.

and no doubt i think ben barnes will be rushton lol, and maybe selena gomez as elspeth because shes trying to get out of the disney thing and this woujld be a perfect way out for her!

and she fits elspeths description and everything!

and she would nail the character hands down!
