  • Chendra is one of my favorites! Isn't she cute?!

  • She is majorly adorable.

  • Always happy to pass along information about our zoo's animals. I've been volunteering up at the zoo for the last 5 years.

By the way, she also has a very sweet disposition along with being adorable.

  • Again, thank you. I corrected the information in the title and description. Also, I have several other videos from my day at the beautiful Portland Zoo. I posted a couple of them on the bats and penguins. My descriptions were brief, but correct me if I made error. :)

  • If I may, that one of our females, or cows (as h1596 commented earlier) and we call her "Chendra". She is much smaller than our other females because she was a rescue from the island of Borneo, where the Asian elephants run a bit smaller. She is a year older than our youngest of the heard, Rose-Tu, who is expecting a baby of her own this Fall. Chendra is a darling, isn't she?

  • She is adorable. We thought she was a baby elephant. We did not know that they were called cows; Thank you for educating us on Chendra.

  • when I was little I loved elephants, and my favorite movie was dumbo lol. now I prefer mythology, marine biology, and psychology.
