Thanks! I used State's 'inlay' feature (private beta). It's easy... just like adding a sound effect: drop in the movie and choose the target inlay. For the power-outage, I just adjust cut the video and adjusted the colour.

I have actually done this. My wife was away with the kids and I watched all 6 DVDs with little or no breaks.
