The brakes are finished and this is the first time the engine is started after we got everything installed. Sounds pretty good!

Shortly after, we took it out up and down a small road behind the shop. As soon as I get some tags, she's ready for the road!

  • I'm going to start recording some videos as soon as I start some maintenance on the XJ1100 and my '80 XJ650. I have valves to adjust on the XJ11, then some carb tuning. I have a lot of cleanup work to do on the 650. The big project for the winter is a 1978 XS1100 that looks really rough.

  • @CrashWatcha

I went with Accel coils. Due to some over-excited puppies my oem wires were hosed. Some day I'll cut open the stock coils to see about replacing the original wires.

Off the top of my head everything else is stock. Wait.. 4-1 Kerker exhaust and whatever size jets my father-in-law put in the carbs 20+ years ago :D

  • I see your spark plug wires are a different color then OEM. Is the stator a off-brand as well? Great sounding tho :)
