THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING JUDGED. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ENTRIES?
LOL... I originally had this vid all synced perfectly to "The Song That Goes Like This" from Spamalot, but then YouTube deleted it because of a copyright claim, so I searched through my files to find a Broadway song similar in length. "Schandenfreude" from Avenue Q was only three seconds longer than the original song I used, so I used it and just tweaked the end a bit. It makes me laugh how badly it syncs now. The part where Gary swears at the lady trying to get into the elevator works really well though. Gary's swearing at Sakura, lawl. She probably doesn't even know that word, in English OR Japanese...
Sooo I'm having my first music video contest. n.n Here's the info from the vid if you can't read it (or are just too lazy to watch it... but then you miss the cool clips! and the song!):
So, by luck or by fate, you have stumbled upon Breeze521's first contest! Whee! The contest is to make a music video, using clips from any show or movie and any song you wish. I'd prefer that it be a show or movie I know so I can better judge it, but anything's fine: anime, cartoons, live action, etc. Slideshows are fine too, I guess, but with clips you have a better chance at winning. So what's the catch, you ask?
The song must be from a BROADWAY MUSICAL MWAHAHAHAHA! Songs from movie musicals are fine too, but regular songs that happen to be played in the background of movies I won't count. The song can have profanity in it, but no gory clips, please. For me to count it as an entry, you must post your video as a response to this one.
PRIZES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Third place wins a subscription from me and two graphics (banners, icons, etc.) requests of anything in the world.
- Second place wins a subscription from me, two graphics requests, and you get to pick the song for my next music video.
- First place wins a subscription from me, two graphics requests, and a music video request of anything they wish! You get to pick the song, fandom, and characters of the video, unlike second place, who picks a song and I pick clips for it. The fandoms you can ask for are Lilo & Stitch, Cardcaptor Sakura, Chowder, Beauty and the Beast, or a Hotep and Huy video.
You must have your entry completed by December 5th, so that gives you a little over a month to get your video done. Have fun!
ENTRIES SO FAR:

I'm sorry, but the contest is over now... it has been since December 5th. Windows Movie Maker comes free on all Windows computers. I don't think you can download it anywhere, but ask around, maybe there's a site I don't know of that you can.
