He played for a total of 94,000 peop,e in Louisville, in 7 concerts (3 in the 50´s, 4 in the 70´s). Incidentally, the moment where you see Elvis for an instant (at 2.00 into the clip). is him getting on a,limo from the hotel, on his way not to Freedom Hall (that was in 1976 and 1977), but to the Fair and Expo Hall, which was the venue he played in both 1971 and 1974.

Actually, the news station has it wrong, the clip being from June 26, 1974, not July 23, 1976, even less May 21, 1977, the two dates he played Louisville after that 1974 clip. He also played there on November 7, 1971 and, as indicated in the newsclip, appeared on two shows on November 25, 1956, one of them actually attended by the then teenager Cassius Clay. Some believe Clay may have attended an earlier concert ( late November 1955), but that´s doubtful as Elvis was not that well known
