I'm American of Mexican Decent 7th Generation and proud. My family dates back to when Texas was still considered Mexico. My Mothers Grandmother came across into New Spain "Alta California" and settled in Rancho Camarillo in the 1800's. My grandmothers Brother Died in Pearl Harbor back in 1942 and she also had a son that died in the vietnam war. I'm as much as American then John Smith even more for that fact!

I'm sooo happy for Marta!

In the critical side does anyone notice Martas complete make over? Come on people let's think critically. Not only that BUT isn't CNN representing LAtinos in an Americanised way in the Pico Rivera segment. I know people from Pico and they said it is NOTHING like it was represented. And let's not forget PRIDE uses scare tactics to get children to stop "tagging" hmmm

I'm mexican and I'm both hispanic and latino, but if your brasilian your latino and lusophone. The difference is that hispanic includes only the spanish speaking countries including spain, and latino is a short of way of calling the latinoamericanos which includes brasil and haiti, but not spain.
