Perdition's Gate map01 UAC HQ

Ah yes, perdition's gate. A mapset created by Wraith, it used to be commercial and even was sold on disc at some point. (thanks to BaronOfStuff for the extra infos)

But what about the levels themselves? They're excellent and the music is one of Perdition's Gate strong point. The mapset was made long before mappers thought they were being cutting edge by adding a revenant trap in every single level each 3 or 4 rooms.

The first map is what you'd expect a first map to be. Former human/sergeant aplenty, just your typical pistol/shotgun fight while remaining a good map. A good start i say.

P.S. I know i originally intended to start uploading PG next year as i thought it would take me this long to finish the mapset entirely, but i actually finished the recording today so that's why i'm uploading right now.

heh, this mapset looks really neat.. not to mention the gameplay.. looks like you've picked up the pace quite a bit. today i got doom 2 in xbla and found that there is an all new episode.. the game goes slowly in the xbox and i hate that i can't fix the sensitivity on the turning :\ other than that, the game plays really well and i've had a good time with it.. you know if that episode is available to download somewhere?

ha very nice, I've been playing through this over the Christmas period, it's a nice old school wad. Though I don't particularly like the secret maps that much

The music to this WAD gives Icarus: Alien Vanguard's soundtrack some competition. This one's a solidly-designed mapset that everyone should at least try out.
