I can't take my eyes off from you.
This horse is my world. I don't have a clue what I would do without him. What I will do without him. I don't know when we'll part or under what circumstances, but it's inevitable. One day, no matter the reason, I will no longer have him. That day will be one of immense sadness.
He's come so far since the day I started riding him. He would smash through jumps, no matter the consequence. Later he would avoid them. He would run away with me during lessons with no direction. He wouldn't slow to a trot. He would only pick up the left lead for a while. He simply didn't listen and was too strong for me to simply make him listen. I cried over that horse so many nights. I almost made my mom let me have Sandy back. But those days are passed and he's a completely new horse. He hasn't avoided a jump in the longest time and only knocks one over on occasion. He picks up each of his leads with ease and his headset is getting a ton better. He has so much potential and is going to be a champion one day.
Its as if this horse was made for me. As if God sculpted him specifically with me in mind... As I type this I'm crying. I don't even have a real reason... I'm so lucky to have the opportunity to ride him. To train him. To cherish him. And that's exactly what I'll do. I'm so in love with this horse.

Beautiful. We all outgrow horses sooner or later, but at least you both still have a lot to learn and teach one another.
