This is a tribute to man they called "The Brockton Blockbuster" he was living proof that it is not about the skill of the man but the will of the man. He was relentless in his attacks, a true inside fighter, tight to his opponent like spandex. Known for his granite chin he was never knocked out in his 49 fights though knocked down a few times in his career he would always show heart and get up from the canvas to win the fight. Also without doubt one of the hardest hitting individuals boxing has ever seen, his punch was tested and featured in the December 1963 issue of Boxing Illustrated: "Marciano's knockout blow packs more explosive energy than an armour-piercing bullet and represents as much energy as would be required to spot lift 1000 pounds one foot off the ground."
