Street Preaching in Australia

Evangelical street preachers have been causing a stir the in "city of churches" - Adelaide.

While I think their message is misguided, wrong, and downright offensive to many, I do not think this kind of behaviour is an effective way of combatting it. Loud obnoxious protests calling for censorship, teetering on violence, and attract the attention of police and media are not the methods we really want to be promoting. But how to combat the insanity of religion?

Funny, I get people ringing me up all day disturbing my peace wanting to sell me windows or get me to change energy suppliers or phone cmpanies but when I want to tell them about Jesus and eternal life NOT in hell, they are not interested. If youve warned them they have no excuse on the day.
