Please forgive me for saying this but this is an ugly plane.
Worse than beluga, at least the beluga has some sort of design that blends.

@JuggernautSoda yeah cuz this was diring testing
-
It's not painted...

@kdraper2007 Yer i know! Airbus needed their own transporter instead of using Boeings Guppy because that wasnt good for business! Thats where the saying "Every Airbus arrives on the wing of a Boeing" came from! But then they made the Beluga and that problem was sorted!
-
@bulkocrew actually the airbus baluga was airbus's version of the Boeing 377 P G.
-
@ILivForFun it is a modified 747, used to haul the fuselage sections of the 787 airliner. the tail section is on a hinge. the whole tail section swings to the right to load or unload the large sections 787.
-
@TennisChamp59 it's for the 787
-
@stavmeir84 it's a 747 modded

ITS A 747 DREAMLIFTER!
I really hope they bring the 787 here when they test fly that. Whenever that happens, haha. I'm sure it will be much prettier, but I'd still fly this plane.

They requested a touch and go after this landing and I had a great spot to watch it, but the weather got to bad and they had to leave. :(
