WTFC Club Secretary Gary Johnson saying he joined the club from 'the dark side' a reference to his time as the man in black when he was a referee for many years. Johnson, now on the board of The Ryman League as well as his involvement at Whitstable Town speaks of his new found respect for all those involved running football clubs. "I never realised the amount of work that goes into running a club, from the chairman, to secretary, (a job I now do at Whitstable) to the guys on the gate, sell the programmes or collecting the balls that go astray, every one of them does a great job."
