  • heythere i really like your rustler i own one also i am wondering what clutchbell and spur you are running thanks

  • @ringworm9 don't recall what im using in this video but my rustler now has 22 clutchbell, and 68 spur gear. It had very good top speed with this combination. from a gear ratio chart I have, stock is 70/20 and has ratio of 9.835. 68/22 gives a 8.685 so there is significant increase in top end.

  • @powerking230 they do not break easily, we have two electric rustlers which has been taking loads of beating with pride

  • @kyrkbymannen i think because the electrics are slightly lighter. The stock c-hubs in the front for the nitro are kind of week, i've snapped a couple of them when the car landed on its side. upgraded to aluminum and havent had any problems for the front.

  • many people say that the rustler breaks parts very fast what do you think?

  • @powerking230 Yes, parts DO break on the rustler, quite a bit too when you will be new to nitro. You will just have to replace the key/critical parts of the car so it becomes quite durable. read the comments on my videos since I dont want to repeat myself.

  • @sputnikwood ehw okay ;)

  • great vid m8, I honestly don't think the music is too loud, I can still here the engine perfectly :)

Imho the only thing the vid could use is some more air :p, some more jumps would have made it that much more exciting to watch ;)

But all in all a very nice effort, keep it up :D

  • @sputnikwood For offroad use I would try a lighter weight oil and possibly and softer spring so the suspension reacts faster and soaks up the bumps better

  • @Straightsix76 What do you mean oversprung or damped? Should I lessen/increase the preloads on the shocks or use heavier/lighter oil? the car is running 40wt oil i think.
