Synopsis!
You're My Heart, You're My Soul is the first single from the album The 1st Album, released by the famous German group Modern Talking in 1984. It is their best sold single, with sales exceeding 8 million copies and it reached the top of the charts in 35 countries.
The song was initially released in late 1984, but with no success due to lack of promotion. In January 1985, the German TV Show "Formel Eins" played the video of the song, and on 21th of January th song entered the German charts on #38, and one week later it reached top 10. It will top the German charts for 6 consecutive weeks.
For the sales it was certified gold disc in Germany, Belgium, France, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland; platinum disc in Denmark; and double platinum disc in South Africa.

@lij8 You know, when I was a kid in the 80s and I would listen to Modern Talking, people who were already in their 30s would say exactly what you said, claiming the best music belonged to the 70s. It's all about perspective. Today's music will be good in 10 or 15 years. It's the usual circle of nostalgia :)
