  • continue... >>> Planned to stay in Azuga or Busteni, go snowboard in both places (moving by bus/train) + 1 or 2 times go to Sinaia. How it sonds? I'll b thankful for any info or tips, it's very little info online abt Busteni/Azuga. We r going on low budget, so accomodation will b an issue as well. thanks! v.

  • @microcosmoses Ok, well I recomand you going as well in Sinaia because you have the longest slope I think we have in Romania, you are at 2000m and you go down until you hit 1400. But it's not a slope, it's like a summer road and in the winter you can try it by going snowboarding. About Azuga it's nice because of the closed chair lift, no wind, no nothing :D. About accomodation, it depends on the period, if you are a group of people you can find something cheap but that's not a rule.

  • @schumiaxel the longest slop in Romania is Drumul Rosu or Red Road in Poiana Brasov :) witch it has 4600 m

  • @krystu86 You are right, Drumul de Vara at Sinaia is 2350 m long. My mistake.

  • Grrrrrrrrrrreat!!!

    :-D

Want to go to Azuga this winter and have some questions. Can u help (with some info & recommendations) pls?

    Cheers,

    Vanessa

  • @microcosmoses tell me what do you want to know and I'll try to help you :)

  • @schumiaxel the longest slot in Romania it`s Drumul Rosu (Red Road) in Poiana Brasov, 4600 m

  • hi Axel!

this year we r going with friends and there r few complete beginners (1st time on the snow), some "second season", and some advanced in the group. The quest is: if Azuga is not too difficult for beginners and if it's not too small (2 slopes only?) for advanced snowboarders? We hope to stay for 2 weeks - abt 8-10 days snowboarding and lil travel in Transilvania at daily breaks (at Sundays).
