Well, here's an odd one... ;) It was requested by one of you... so here it is! It's a fun song on the drums and it shows another side of Neil which appears on the same album: the lyricist saviour for Rush! The lyrics of this song were written by Geddy and well, it's not much of a literature masterpiece... ;) So, thanks Neil! I did not spend much time learning that song so it's not quite perfect but enjoy this 33 years oldie anyway!

Great job man! Out of every Rush song ever recorded, this has always been and always will be, my favorite Rush "drum" song! I don't care that Neil's kit and technique is light years better now, this is what kick-ass rock drumming is all about to me! Awesome! Now do 'Beneath Between Behind!' :-)

@Astrotama I do believe it was Rutseys song yea? there is an old old vid of just Ged, alex and John playing, well before fly by night, eh I may be wrong

@IslandWreck Indeed, that song was created and played before Neil joined the band. I don't know why they never put it on the 1st album and waited instead to put it on Fly By Night. That is the version I play on the video.

@philsrh0809 By listening! I usually listen to a song over and over again, learning the drumming parts visually in my head. I never learn a song by first sitting on the kit; that would be too frustrating for me. After I get a good idea on how to play it, then I sit down at the kit and just rehearse it until it becomes automatic and I can play it without any background music, just by playing the song in my head. For some fills, I need to stop and figure out the sticking on the kit. That's all!
