  • I worry that the Reach-Lunge-Press could be hard on the low back? Reaching out that far to pick up load can be risky. Any suggestions?

  • @thevadercrucible Not when its done as kinetic chain expression - should actually help mobility not risk anything about it

  • If there's one thing I hate about the burpees it's the push up part. I seriously can't do push-ups but I really want to do burpees but can't do it because of the push-up.Is the push-up REALLY necessary or can the burpee be modified.

  • @ChaosNMK No of course not mate. Of course you can modify the push up portion. That is the beauty of such things, they can always be progressed and digressed accordingly. Go for it !!!!

  • Abel, would you reccomend this as a warm up, considering that I usually warm up wih a burpee TABATA protocol getting around 64 burpees in 4 minutes? Thank you in advance for your answer!

  • @andrewsch123 No I wouldn't call it a warm up protocol. Good for you though, that's some good effort you can do

  • How many times? Sets and reps?

  • @ChaosNMK

If you don't do the push up then it's called a squat thrust, which is just fine. As you get stronger you can add the push ups slowly as you progress. Have fun with it. =0)

  • @scottabelcoaching so you mean to say...just like the burpees in this video which look way easier than doing the push up burpee....the burpee can be modified.NICE. I guess I'll be adding this to my warm up routine.
