Canon HF S10 / S100 test same clip uploaded in AVCHD format (m2ts file). Watch in "HD"

Here you can see colors much closer to the colors from the original video but as you can also see youtube can't properly convert/display those mts/m2ts files (AVCHD format).

As I said in this video I used full auto (in 50i) mode and to keep colors as close to original as possible I simple chopped video in software I've got with the camera. Normally I use Sony Vegas 9 for editing: it's easy to use and good enough for simple clips.

What settings have you used on the camera to shoot this video? Are you using the Apperture Priority mode or Shutter priority mode? Also at what FPS did you shoot? How did you get such rich colors, did you set manual Whitebalance? Awesome video.

This particular clip was shoot if full auto mode. Camera does everything itself pretty well. Colors - yes, you're right, it's the biggest advantage of this model (+ resolution).

Haha I don't really know what i know..vimeo provide one of the best quality video especially HD but the only thing is limited number of uploading video per week or day(I think) =p

you might be able to upload your vid to quickplay (if you have it)and then transfer it to youtube.But im only 13 so i dont know to much.
