This is absolutely without a doubt my favorite EQ on the market. Every commercial studio should have one and anybody with a home studio that can afford one needs one as well.

I think a lot of people can get into trouble with EQ's that leave their mixes sounding less than ideal but the 8200 will make your tracks sound better even if you're using it in a way that's not normal. Absolutely incredible.

  • Great video. I didn't expect notching peaks with a parametric to be so uplifting. It's amazing what the background music does.  It's awesome hearing him sweep the frequency band. It has a similar thing to my Moog Voyager's filter that I haven't heard yet in plugin land.
