It's the capability of the aircraft, not the airport.

If all the equipment onboard is fully serviceable, when both autopilots are selected for the ILS it will read Cat 3 Dual which gives it a CAT IIIB capability - that's independent of the airfields capabilities.

Why does the FMA say "CAT 3"? I thought only 25R is equipped for CAT IIIA and the others are only CAT II.

Starting from 0:05, just above the altitude bar it reads CatIII, and he wonders why. I want to know why too!
