guys i used to not be able to configure my controller but i found a way so i am giving it to u
in the emulator folder u will see two files the yes and yes(2)
when configuring controller click load profile and click ether yes or yes(2)
yes is for the light siaxis controller and yes (2)is for dushlock

when u go to properties and u press up down whatever and they are one of those 2 4 7 19 buttons then use yes

if not use yes (2)

for super smash bros start is r left is left up is up z is r2 square is b x is a triangle is x and circle is y

Thank you soooo much. Setting up a PS3 controller with the Project 64 emulator is VERY difficult, and I know this helped a lot of people. Also, I'm going to suggest one thing to the maker of this video : Ignore the haters. (They probably can't read)

@5sp4lr i downloaded the ds3 tool, it recognizes my controller it tests fine and works, but it wont work on project 64! any suggestions? Any would be greatly appreciated, the internet has lied to me several times saying it cant be done which i know is horse shit cause my friend used to do it all the time, im getting rlly butthurt about this lol, so any help would be extremely appriciated

I would probably make a vid about how to do it the easy way now but it the meantime just search DS3Tool on youtube and you will get how nto set up ur ps3 controller ok?

@Royalytubed thanks! my friend told me how to... you go to controller configuration under options select the wireless xbox in the drop down menu and then you can configure the controls. (this is when using ds3tool)
