I've done it without Amp Towers...I'll tell you, it's freakin' hard.

I didn't follow this set up either.

there is 1 new moon in waldgeist (6 lvls) 2 new towers and new types of enemies and you can play all of the old lvls with the new towers and enemies!

Because those Amp towers are a Cheap Exploit. They take the strategy out of the game. It just becomes a rush to get them up and running. Without them you would have to use other weapons than just the Machine Guns.  Hey, not saying I can do it either, just seems unfair.
