Aikamoista luukutusta! :D Niin, onnittelut Gloria Mortin uusi rumpali - pääsit hienoon bändiin! Ei luulisi olevan tuollaisilla taidoilla onkelmia niiden kappaleiden kanssa, vaikka kovaa mättöä ovatkin.

1 more question
what beater do you use?
u hit really hard

The bass drums are triggered and they come from PA so I'm not really hitting that hard :D
Still, I try to keep my strokes as hard as possible. The beater distance is something like 5"-6" maybe but the beater usually goes further away from the head than that when I play.

thanks! I've had drums for something like twelve years now but for too many years I didn't pay attention to how I play and I didn't really practice at all. I think I've been practicing for something like 5-6 years now.

DUDE! You are really really really good. I watched you play "Dominate" and hummed it right along with you-you playit better than the original guy. Forget the advice about your technic - it works for you. Your arm will take a lot more abuse than your wrists will over the years anyway. Just be easy on the hands. I'm 44 now and get major cramps in the ball-thumb area now. Now here's MY request for advice: How do you stop or prevent from getting calf cramps when playing 16ths for a long period? TY

Thanks! I try to practice double bass for longer periods of time without breaks. In songs you never need to play double bass for many minutes straight because there's fills and other breaks, so if you're able to play those tempos for few minutes without stopping, playing songs gets much easier. So I guess is just hours and hours of practice.
