so it turns out that "killer" whales, though they are the top predators of the ocean, are actually more like big dogs than killers... they like eatig ice, and they are big little babies. the guy showing us around is my cousin, a killer whale trainer. rad.

  • Yes, that's them! : ) good eye!

  • Yeah, it's so cool, and I REALLY DO appreciate the opportunity. I'm not the type to not respect them, or appreciate the chance.

Thanks for checking it out and commenting. Glad others enjoy the videos!

  • So if these like killer whales attacked a full grown blue whale like some wild pods do does that make them like big dogs. They need to hunt its what predators do, these mammals are the most intelligent predators on the planet, if we threw some audience members into their pool during one of their shows I'd pay good money to see them ripped apart!

  • @ronchiii which orca is your cousin's favorite

  • I like seaworld for two reasons 1) I get to see killer whales, which I'm never been able to see in the wild, and 2) they offer good show to watch these amazing animals doing amazing stuff. Some of you may disagree with me, but that's my opinion

  • You lucky duck! I did'nt get to do that when I went to seaworld San Diego :(...

  • if I can only keep these whales on my 50 gallon aquarium . I'd be the happiest man ever!! I Wish xD

  • should be like a hospital, park, not a show, if u ask me how to do this i would construct a real seaworld under water dont know what to do with dollars ? making bussines about and that has a name, "slaves" like priosioners do you really think that whales rather live in a tank? are you the best trainers ? or just feed them people all over the world has a really bad perception about sea world, and it is becouse a bad managment. for good or bad.. thats just the way it is... everyone can tell.

  • Noodles, Why do you insist on saying Sea World gave away 6 million last year... this never happened. The 6 million is the total amount given to whom SW chooses since 2003.

  • @cewok They actually do have a foundation, called the SeaWorld Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. Last year they gave over $6million to this fund, which rescues and releases injured animals after they've been treated at SeaWorld. For example, most of the manatees you see there will be released into the wild. They have also released hundreds over turtles that were harmed in the oil spill. They have a research institute too, which is currently runninng a project on polar bears.

  • aww Kalia and Nakai are so little!

  • sea world should be a foundation that care for animals let it them free, or complementing wild life an care but not a bussines or a circus, a place for animals recovery, a santuary, open at the sea, that shows respcet for mother narute and help to kids to create a loving culture for animals, not a circus show, the only thing that we are getting from this kind of institution is that future generations grow with this poor state of mind., that aint balanced and totally opossite to what is real.
