Russell Smith is probably the greatest country singer / songwriter you are not listening to. The ACES hit the country TOP TEN charts back in 1975 with "Third Rate Romance" and "Amazing Grace (Used To Be Her Favorite Song)". They won a GRAMMY Best Vocal Performance in 1976 for "The End Is Not In Sight."

Russell Smith (singer /songwriter) has continually re-formed the band and recorded solo LP all through the 80s, 90's and now into the 21st century. He also has had a successful career as a Nashville songwriter with *# songs recorded by Randy Travis, Ricky Van Shelton and T. Graham Brown.
