Southgate PD running Radar sneaky - Saved.

Driving down Fort Street in Southgate, MI. everyone usually goes around 40-42 and it's 35 so there is usually a LEO -Law Enforcement Officer- in the area. While traveling at 43-45 mph after the light changed green for me I got the good old Ka alert from up ahead and adjusted my speed to a solid 35 and waited to pass the LEO.

However the white van that was behind me wasn't so lucky.. when I double tapped my brake lights to alert him to slow down he whipped in the left lane going 45 or faster right past the cop... lucky to say he got nailed and I was safe :) drivers should pay more attention. this was my 3/3 save and approx $400 in speeding tickets to date.

@sleepylabone The cop car clearly said Southgate Police Department on the side of it.. perhaps hes out of his area and it was still lincoln park territory but the car writting does not lie :P title :"Southgate PD" is correct if I said Southgate City then you would be correct.

@SpartanicalSystem It was actually very funny when it happened lol.. however I didn't record afterwards as I took the cam off the dash.

@SpeedTrapCrasher Well, the funny thing is I watched this BECAUSE I live in Southgate, so, yeah. :P So good to know it's not illegal here. :D

@FullMetalSatomi In some states they have banned the use of radar detectors but not michigan! :D you can check your local laws to see if they're legal where your located at. happy speed trap crashing.

@FullMetalSatomi Cheap ones Walmart, Radio Shack, Kmart etc.. real / better ones like the escort 9500 and V1 I'd get online along with other higher end equipment.
