  • @hunterknapp16 im in 4D and we almost have an overpopulation of turkeys here. Great hunting.

Yeah, it was a great hunt. We didn't wanna shoot that far, but we got pegged and it was either then or never. Zack is a real good shot and it was all about the shells doing their job, and they did.

I am in WMU 3A. All of my hunts are from this unit. Sometimes we venture into 2G and 3B to fox and coon hunt. But pretty much stick to home for all of the deer, turkeys and stuff. Thanks for the comments and watching!! 2 more weeks and we'll be at it again!!

  • good calling, great far shot, especially for a young guy. I'm in PA as well what section are you?

Not even the right county dumbfuck. Only about 120 miles off. lol.

The Dead Coyote chokes come in a few different kinds. Some for steel shot, some for small lead, some for big lead. I have 2 of them. The steel shot one (actually made for blackcloud shot) and the big lead shot one. Thanks though!!

  • @hunterknapp16 i was wondering how good waterfowl loads would work for turkey, i cant believe they held enough pettern and velocity to drop a turkey at that distance, and i was looking at the dead coyote choke for my benelli since that has been my primary predator gun this season, but have not had any luck thus far, and you probably know though but steel shot is reccomended to be used in nothing tighter than a modified choke, but good luck this season! keep the vids coming

Thanks for watching!! Zack was using my Mossberg 835 with a Dead Coyote choke tube and 3 1/2" #2 Winchester high speed steel shot (goose loads). He still had 10 or 15 pellets in the head and neck. Plus a few in the chest of it. It was over 50yds. We had no choice because they busted us. We literally sat down and turned the camera on right then. That was my 1st yelp when they gobbled the 1st time. The yellow flower bush midscreen was 25yds. So you can judge by that. thanks again!!

  • damn that was one hell of a shot! what type of shell and what type of choke is he using? that looked like a good 60+ yard shot
