Chapter 9!

The rest of school went by fast. Nick kept begging for another chance. But I would say no.
I was out by the car waiting for Jack to come out. I saw Nick walking over to me and I crossed my arms and leaned on my car.
"What?"
"Nothing." Nick shrugged and leaned on my car next to me.
"Then why are you here?
"I think you know why." He smiled, swinging his head to face me.
"Ugh." I rolled my eyes.
"Soooo?"
"So what?"
"Is that a yes."
"No."
"No?"
"Yes."
"Awesome! I will pick you up tonight."
"What?! I never meant that! Ugh! I have homework too!"
"It is a Monday, we don't get homework on Mondays!" Nick yelled across the parking lot.
"Ugh! " I lifted up my arms in frustraion. He was right. We don't get homework on Monday and I was grateful for that.
"Pick you up around 7!" He was by his car by now. He was high fiving his brothers in victory.
"Fine! Gosh!" I crossed my arms.
Nick got into the car and he pulled up next to me.
"By the way. I won another battle!" He smiled and went out of the parking lot.

It was 6:50 pm. And I was in my pajamas. I didn't expect him to come. If he did, oh darn! Not. This is what he gets. John and Leah were already in bed because they had a 10 hour meeting. Jack was playing his Xbox. I looked at the clock. It was 6:59 then it changed to 7:00. As soon as it changed the door bell ringed. I jumped in shock. I got up and opened the door and there he was. He was holding a rose. His eyes went wide when he saw what I was wearing.
"Did I wake you up or something?" He grinned and walked into the house past me.
"Come in." I said sarcastically.
"Thank you." He smiled to himself.
"I didn't think you would show up. I thought it was just a game to you and your brothers." I crossed my arms.
His face hardened.
"You THOUGHT that? Why would you? I would never do that to any girl. Especially you."
"Yeah. Yeah."
"Why would you think that?"
"Because you stood me up the first time. I thought you would the second time."
"If I would have explained to you why I didn't show you would have understand."
"I thought you did. Or was that a lie."
"It wasn't."
"Hmph." I rolled my eyes.
"So go get ready. I got everything set."
"You did?"
"Yeah."
"Where are we going?"
"Suprise."
"Hate Surprises." I mumbled. He rolled his eyes. "I don't even know what to wear anyway."
Nick just rolled his eyes. He grabbed my hand with his cold hand and we walked upstairs. He went through my clothes and handed me a red dress.
"There." He smiled.
"Fine."
It was quiet for a second.
"Aren't you going to put it on?" Nick pointed out.
"Aren't you going to leave the room so I can?" I said.
"Oh right." He put his hand on the back of his head and walked off.
I had to giggle. I put on the dress and walked down the stairs. Nick was waiting by the door. When he saw me his mouth dropped.
"Wow." He gasped.
"That bad? I'll go change." I started to walk up stairs but Nick grabbed my hand.
"No you look perfect." He smiled.
"Uhm. Thanks. How did you get all the way over here so fast."
"Uhm. It's not that far away from the door," he said.
"Still you're so fast."
He ignored me.
"Let's go." He pulled me out of the house.
