im so sorry you bought into crap alienware i have a m17 its a piece of dookie. Will never buy again from now on will only self build pc for myself. Alienware is garbage you are paying for name not specs because you cant even overclock the cpu or anything else. just plan garbage. Hope you enjoy yours tho.

@moviesunrated everyone has macbooks because steve has got his hands on the balls of the entertainment industry, i have a macbook pro i7 dual core 2.6 pro and an alienware i7 six core extreme 3.33 so obviosuly my comparrsion is unfare ,but to tell you the truth i have already had to take my mac book pro to get it fixed to the apple store after owning it for 2 months, i make music graphic design and edit videos so i needed the best of the best and to tell you the truth i never use my mac, at all

@ricayovillanueva by performance do you mean gaming? Because you can't base a system on how well it plays games and this isn't 'Real Performance' Render a video in after effect cs5 on an alienware running vista see how far you get ;). Plus i agree that the aesthetics of the hp pavilion are nice but its still plastic, MacBook Pros are 100% recyclable aluminium
