@rhaydon6784 Usually a breaker bar will get the trick done. Odd. I'd try some penetrating oil, let is sit overnight and trythe next day. If that doesn't work you can apply heat with a torch to the nut. Air tools just make it a bit easier sometime.

Hey, I almost broke my own nuts trying to break the axle nut on my chevy cav. I don't have a compressor, just a Ridgid battery powered driver, which didn't work, and a breaker bar on it didn't work. Is air the only solution sometimes?
