Canada Goose Chilliwak Jacket Review

My review of the Canada Goose Chilliwak Parka. I don't know what I said but it is actually the YKK Zipper company. I bought it from Harry Rosen at the Yorkdale Shopping Center. I like the red colour because it stands out. I actually approve of all the colours available, they are all nice. It is extremely warm, but it also regulates its temperature well. It has two pockets at the waist level on the outside that are perfect for anything, the velcro is strong. It has a zipped pocket on the right arm. It has two pockets on the left arm for pens. The hood has real coyote fur on it. The hood can be rolled forward if it is extremely cold and snowy, though it looks kinda funny. It has one security pocket on the left inside chest. It is a nice, short bomber jacket. If it is like -10 to -20 you will be quite warm, if it is lower than -20 I would reccomend a sweater or second layer underneath. From 10 C to -20 C you will probably be fine with a t-shirt. Anything warmer than 10 C don't even zip it up. Anything above 15 C, I wouldn't wear it. Anything above 18 C, you will look like an idiot and people will laugh at you and say you are showing off (anything sub 0 degrees and you have an excuse to wear it). At $495 it is a great investment as I could see the jacket lasting at lest ten years and it has a lifetime warranty through the retailer (Be sure to save the receipt just in case!). I would HIGHLY reccommend it to anyone, it is a perfect jacket that is well priced.

Found a black Chilliwack in large for $360 at my local mall. Store inside the mall is an official American Canada Goose retailer (listed on Canada Goose website). Didn't purchase. Can't remove the fur. Honestly wasn't impressed with the coat. Warm but pretty short. No clue why this coat is so popular in Canada.
