Bhakti Yoga in Yogahaven, Brighton

The Hare Krishna Brighton in Yogahaven, Brighton on Saturday, 16th January, 2010 led HG Tribhangananda prabhu of Leicester.

Every word is a song, every step is a dance and everyday is a festival.

yah idam paramam guhyam
mad-bhaktesv abhidhasyati
bhaktim mayi param krtva
mam evaisyaty asamsayah

na ca tasman manusyesu
kascin me priya-krttamah
bhavita na ca me tasmad
anyah priyataro bhuvi

For one who explainds the Supreme secret to the devotees, devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me. There is no servant in the world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear. (Bhagavad-gita 18.68-18.69)

It is therefore incumbent upon us to preach the method of Bhagavad-gita and make people Krishna concious. People are actually suffering for want of Krishna conciousness. We should all engage in spreading the science of Krishna for the benefit of the whole world. Lord Caitanya Mahaprabu came with this mission of teaching Krishna conciousness, and He said that regardless of one's position, if he teches Krishna conciousness he is considered to be a spiritual master. Both Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam are filled with information on how to become Krishna concious. Lord Caitanya Mahaprabu selected these two books and requested that people in all corners of the world spread this science of Krishna in every town and village. Lord Caitanya Mahaprabu was Krishna Himself, and we should take this to be Krishna's indication of our proper work. But we should be careful to present Bhagavad-gita as it is., without personal interpretations of Bhagavad-gita, but we should be present the words as they are spoke by Sri Krishna.
