If brock could have achieved any of his first two takedown attempts (and he very very nearly did) the outcome might have been completely the opposite. I actually think that the one of the most amazing things out of Cains career was stuffing those two takedown attempts. That was the key to victory... thats why brock went crazy, panicked and then like a complete noob decided to stand up with a clearly superior striker.

@leaderOFlosers cain has sick ground game... I hugely respect Velasquez. but again we're talking about a one in a million athlete in brock lesnar... his little rabbit punches alone made Mir actually see white lights everytime they landed. I still think that people are wayyy over reacting, they should remember that heavywieght fights like these with huge explosive fighters usually end in a lopsided way. There was no way this fight was going deep.
