Here is one of my favorite shots I've captured from the San Luis Obispo area. After being "denied" of my first choice option because of private property signs, I was in a scramble to find a new place to capture the days southbound Coast Starlight. I had to hike in a rather strange way, right next to the men's prison. But after being stared down by prison guards, I finally made it to this location. I was really excited when I got here to see the composition, light, and knowing a train was just a few minutes out. So here it is, the Southbound Coast Starlight making its way around the Horseshoe Curve, on Cuesta Pass, just outside San Luis Obispo, CA. I hope you enjoy the shot as much as I did.
