I took a look at a lot of quotes from Native American leaders of the past. Many of the quotes mirror the quotes from Little Big Man. I've always thought that the part of this speech ("will walk a road that leads nowhere") is about the "Americanization" of the Native Americans, which was sometimes called making them "walk the white man's road".

I like the comment he said at the end of the clip... "You have all decided that human beings will soon walk a road that leads nowhere". I think he meant that we're not looking after Mother Earth like we're supposed to which in turn will bite us all hard in the ass in the end. I think he's very right!!

CDG was a real true awesome role model for every other Native person wanting to get into the acting business as well as Natives in general! May the Creator keep his soul safe.
