About TEDx, x = independently organized event:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*

Learn to use a spreadsheet and keep your personal overhead as low as you can and you will come out ahead, it's that simple. As for credit, I am 52 and have never once applied for credit. I am what the credit companies call a ghost. It has its ups and downs.

I was 22, I made $32,000. No college. no debt. That was over 25 years ago. And now you are LUCKY to get a 35 a yr job w/ 25G in college debt? You guys are being sold a bill of goods. College doesn't mean shit anymore. It turns you into a higher class of sheep.
The fact that these basic things that Alexa is talking about here are NOT taught in school should be a clue that your schooling has failed you. We need a new education system. Get rid of the liberals that are running things into the dirt.

This is bullshit. For several years after graduating a good 70-80% of my income had to go to essentials, and I worked 12 hour days, 1 day off a week, and rented a bedroom in a boarding house.
