When your bub starts grunting old their feet and legs up as if cleaning bottom at nappy change.Insert a cotton bud dipped in vasiline into your babys botton, gently move the bud around pushing the sides. This should not hurt your baby. Your baby will pass whatever wind and poo left in their bowel almost instantly. New babies are learning to use their bum muscles, some need a little aid until they figure it out in time x

Hi. My son is one month old and does the same thing ALL the time. When did your baby stop grunting? It's soo hard to hear him going through that. I know it's a condition called newborn grunting but I wonder how long it last. Thanks.
