I've gone 80 and up miles per hour in 75 mph zones anyway, so has other traffic, some of them have even passed me, so 75 is a feasible speed limit. Example: I-35 in Frio and LaSalle Co. Texas, and I-10 in NM and AZ.

congratulations on your new 75 mph speed limit I-49, soon Kansas will go to 75 on even some divided highways (non-interstates) why not, New Mexico already has a 75 mph speed limit on divided highway US 70 thru White Sands Missile Range between Alamogordo & Las Cruces, the only non interstate to be 75 mph in NM. it's been 75 mph since at least 2003 as far as I remember.
