What an appalling load of rhetoric about nothing. There's appalling suffering going on in the world today - war, famine, slavery - and yet you maintain that political correctness is "evil." The main effect of PC has been to make public racism unacceptable. Is this not a good thing?

And the thing is, the people on this post are trying to protect the greatest 'politically correct' system of all - the structure of power that dominates the world, that controls most of the media, global markets, and dictates our community life, our individual life - can't get much more PC than that.

I didn't doubt that it appears on their site. I would say, so what? Because they are anti-pc and I'm anti-pc. Doesn't mean that there has to be any more of a connection there. B.T.W Many people are anti-pc.

What does PC stop? Mainly discussion of issues regarding race and gender.

political correctness is extreme sensitivity toward any race except white, to women but not men, to gays but not straights, and to any religion except christian. under political correctness, you are perfectly free to offend and even commit hate crimes against whites, men, straights and christians.

Political correctness and the real definition liberalism are two different things but since it goes against the conservatives view they synonymous it as being the same . Real liberalism opposes political correctness it purpose is to conquer and divide the populace and those that have been prejudice against each other so that communism will take over and the oppressed will be rewarded with extermination unless we out law communism, there is nothing liberal about it it can go on right too

if the world did not contain islam and the ideology of jihad, sharia, kuffar, dar al harb etc etc, then no one need have concerned themselves about it....as we're all happy to see everyone treated equally and with respect.

the problem only arises when a malevolent intolerant & supremacist creed knocks on your door and has every intention of taking over..its holy book itself containing exhortations 2do that very thing.

You did not make a compelling case on why political correctness is worse than not having it.

I would argue that true political correctness IS actually about equality. The feminist groups you mention have ceased being politically correct. If someone calls me a fascist pig, then they aren't being politically correct. It doesn't matter that I'm white.

You aren't wrong about Political Correctness being about power, but all it's supposed to involve is the people in power being nice to the people who aren't That's it.

Think about what you are saying. I imagine you would think Political Correctness seeks out to stop people saying things that other people may find offensive, and I would imagine that this would make you think of things like 'freedom of speech' etc to combat this. But then if you "ban political correctness" (if that sentance makes any sense, which logically it does'nt) you are creating this kind of anti-political correctness, which in itself curtails freedom of speech. Therefore, you are an idiot
