@BuddyWillis i did, as well. very much. brilliant that they've elicited empathy within a rhythm and style from which one wouldn't really expect it.

@partayboy17 yes totally, the first time i heard the song that bit brought tears to my eyes
it's strange but i feel for that woman's voice

I myself, April, Tammy, and Brad.

such a great song. their music is very good, it brings me a sense of enlightenment.

i was listening to this song with a friend and after the sample with the woman with a heart condition, we were extremely affected in a strange way. All that i can say is that we were both visibly disturbed with goosebumps, and both had tears in our eyes for seemingly no reason. Can anyone relate?

Answers to life are surrounded in this song. Very Obvious. Fav. Books Track. I'm glad i ran into this tune months and months ago. It's truly engraved into my brain for life.
-
well that's truly intense.

before i even realized the concept of this video, i had to leave and satiate the impatient urge to jump on my bed. i'm new to the books, but i'm in damn love already.

easily my favoraite books track. love that bit with the old lady talking about her problems "busy looking for another job and I also have a heart condition and i told them I have a heart condition..."

The minds that produced this are very philosophical in nature, and (as a sober person) i can say that it has that effect on me as well. I have many realizations and insights when listening to the books tracks, and usually more on the instrumentals, than the ones with words. Some days the Books inspires me to experience emotions, sometimes, body movements, and sometimes thought. I think the beauty lies in its simplicity and ability to do all of that.

Afterglow didn't say their music/video were philosophical, it just inspires philosophical discussion.
For example, what's so philosophical about movement? Nothing much, but many philosophers have debated whether movement is even possible.
